Hamilton Consulting Engineers (HCE) company leader Kristen Hamilton is spearheading a new era of growth for a company founded in application of new thought processes and technology. Our firm’s extensive expertise in both civil engineering and related fields of diversity management, environmental planning and management, forensic engineering, and governmental services over several decades makes us a powerful and knowledgeable advocate for smart, sustainable project development. This allows us to provide forward-thinking advice and service to our clients. Our firm’s dedication to integrity and technical quality guides our professionals to deliver consulting services giving clients confidence to plan for the future.
This innovative, big-picture approach to projects and planning is a legacy of firm founder Robert E. Hamilton, a man ahead of his time. As a waste water treatment design engineer, he started a firm in Joliet, Illinois in 1955 that played a role in developing some of the first wastewater treatment plants for municipalities in Will County and throughout the Midwest. With this leadership and ingenuity as a base, Robert E. Hamilton Consulting Engineers was able to broaden its scope to the point where Hamilton Consulting Engineers is today able to include consulting services for diversity program management; forensic engineering; construction management; transportation design and planning; design and planning services for wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, water supply, water treatment and stormwater management; surveying, and CAD/GIS. This has allowed us to grow outside the United States with a branch office in Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies.
